Built environment
A natural solution for safer, healthier buildings
Wool Source Particles are an ethically sourced, renewable fibre for the built environment.
With 100% biobased carbon content (ASTM D6866) and Cradle to Cradle® Material Health certification at the Gold level, Wool Source Particles are inherently flame-retardant thanks to wool's naturally high protein and nitrogen content. This makes them well suited to insulation, acoustic panels and other built environment applications where fire safety is a priority.
Wool Source Particles also offer natural moisture management, absorbing and releasing moisture to help regulate humidity within a space. Combined with their natural odour-absorbing properties, they contribute to healthier, more comfortable indoor environments.
Beyond comfort, Wool Source Particles feature a natural anti-pollution mechanism that binds and neutralises harmful gases, reducing sulphur dioxide (SO₂), nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) and formaldehyde (CH₂O) in built environments, for genuinely cleaner indoor air.
Unlike synthetic alternatives, wool is renewable. Sheep need to be shorn annually for their wellbeing, providing a natural, ongoing supply of this fibre year after year. Wool Source Particles are made to contribute to a circular economy.
Our team will partner with you to identify the right application for Wool Source Particles in your built environment projects.
