Two Wool Source products have received recognition of their contribution to a circular economy with the awarding of the globally recognised Cradle to Cradle Material Health certification.

Wool Source Powders and Wool Source Particles were both submitted for consideration and met the stringent standards set by the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute for products that are safe, circular and responsibly made and positively impact people and planet.

Wool Source Chief Executive Tom Hooper said the certification is important for brands to have confidence in their supply chain.

“Wool Source has created high performing, multi-functional drop-in ingredients with applications in a range of industries that are biobased, renewable and ethically sourced and offer alternatives to less environmentally positive products.

“Achieving a global standard that gives our customers total confidence in our sustainability and end of life profile claims is proving incredibly valuable in our market engagement, particularly offshore.”

The products received Bronze level certification.
