Wool Source Pigments receive commendation at Circular Design Awards 2025
Wool Source was proud to recieve a special commendation at the 2025 Circular Design Awards held in Auckland, New Zealand in October 2025.
The awards were established by Mindful Fashion New Zealand to promote circularity in the textile and fashion industry - moving away from synthetic materials derived from fossil fuels and keeping valuable materials in use and out of landfill.
The judging panel chose to recognise Wool Source's commitment to circular business innovation with a special "Innovator to Watch" award.
Wool Source CEO Tom Hooper said, "Receiving this type of endorsement and encouragement from the textile and fashion industry as we look to take our biobased pigments for screen printing to market, is huge."
Mr Hooper says he hopes it part of a strong wider commitment to circularity that Wool Source is keen to support with its product range.
The awards recognised both design and business innovation.
